Process Training Supervisor

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities include: The successful candidate will work with all levels of personnel to identify training needs for the Process division and develop consistent training programs and ensure training is completed. In addition, the candidate will oversee operations and training and will develop employees.

SELECTION CRITERIA

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:

• Five (5) to ten (10) years process operations experience required
• A minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience required
• Mill operations experience required
• Excellent communication skills with various levels of employees both verbally and in writing required
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel and Power Point required
• Good understanding of the Health & Safety requirements and issues in relation to the operation of equipment required
• Knowledge of the process circuit and controls required
• Familiarity with the Barrick Performance Management process preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment required
• Previous training experience a plus and MSHA instructor certification a plus
