Our Client is a large construction consortium involved in large infrastructure projects in the Middle East. They are currently seeking a Manager of Projects – Operations & Maintenance to plan, direct and coordinate activities of designated projects and to ensure that project goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. You will assist with overseeing and providing direction on all construction as well as operations and maintenance projects. You will also assist with the developing and implementing of effective and efficient policies and procedures for project controls.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Plan, manage, supervise, coordinate and lead the work of the projects (construction)
* Supervise project managers reporting through to you
* Review project proposals and establish work plans
* Monitor projects to ensure that the contractor constructs projects according to specifications
* Close roads and bridges as necessary for safety or to make repairs
* Make site inspections to determine the need for maintenance
* Participate in drawing, planning and surveying of construction of bridges, roads etc.
To be considered for this role, you have must have demonstrable experience in a similar role and relevant tertiary qualifications (preferably civil or structural engineering). You will be a strong team player, possessing outstanding project management, analytical and problem solving skills coupled with well developed communication and interpersonal skills
