The Subsea Inspection, Maintenance & Repair Technical Studies Team Lead is responsible for the management and execution of subsea projects involved with technical analysis of subsea assets.
Responsibilities:
• Implement a Project Execution and Responsibilities Plan for all Technical Services Projects; monitor project performance in meeting objectives
• Prepare and modify inspection/integrity management programs, risk assessments (such as HAZID, HAZOP, QRA), comprehensive inspection/monitoring plans, corrosion management programs and evaluate findings to form a repair/remediation scheme for the asset
• Manage, administrate and supervise personnel and resources for Technical Studies projects, either standalone or in support of other Subsea IMR teams
• Ensure project individuals have completed the required training prior to traveling to site locations/suppliers works
• Assist the IMR Services Manager with business development, proposal preparation, bidding and planning for IMR projects on a global basis
• Implement all HSE expectations in accordance with the company’s HSE Plan
• Conduct management and technical oversight on any sub-contractors used on Technical Studies projects
• Actively recruit new personnel for the subsea group, particularly in support of IMR activities
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
• Graduate degree in Engineering or Science required, advanced graduate degree strongly preferred
• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience required, advanced degrees considered in lieu of experience
• Professional certification (NACE, PE, EIT) and membership (ASME, IMarEST) preferred
• Familiarity with all applicable codes, regulations and specifications related to the projects being performed by the Technical Studies team
• Ability to identify subsea hazards and develop safe working practices; experience conducting full investigations of incidents that may occur
