We represent one of Australia's leading Multi-Disciplinary Mining and Civil Contractor companies. Due to internal advancement they are looking for a Project Manager to manage an ongoing open cut coal project. The role is adjacent to one of the most desirable locations in Queensland and offers the successful applicant the opportunity to diversify their experience and the benefits of leading a close-knit team. The core responsibilities of this role include managing the operation of the project, ensuring compliance with the company's strict safety and environmental plans, coordinating and controlling site resources to achieve project targets and effectively managing the development of the site team.
Successful candidates will possess a proven track record in open cut mining operations. Strong communication skills are essential in this role as the key person will be liaising with both internal and external customers on a daily basis and this will strongly impact the success of the project.
