I&C Engineer - I&C/Chemical/Process Controls 35-45 $/hr

Location: Richmond, KY, USA
3 to 4 month contract for Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineers to support the design, construction, and operations of a pilot plant located in the Richmond, KY area. Local candidates or those able to relocate on their own as there is no travel or per diem available. US Citizenship is required to be considered.

Responsibilities:

-> Perform complex I&C design assignments that will apply engineering techniques similar to those found in chemical process or utility plants
-> Review and prepare I&C drawings and design calculations and provide design recommendations
-> Ensure adequate input and technical guidance to CAD designers and drafters as well as other engineers and vendors working on the same deliverables
-> Prepare detailed technical specifications and data sheets, requisitions for field instruments, and technical bid analysis of proposals

Requirements:

-> Bachelors degree in engineering and PE preferred
-> 8+years of utility or chemical plant related electrical I&C engineering experience
-> Experience in preparing logic diagrams and utilizing advanced electrical I&C engineering techniques, codes and regulations
-> Proficiency with InTools for preparation of calculations and datasheets
-> Proof of U.S. citizenship

• How many total years experience do you have working as an I&C Engineer? How many years utility or chemical plant related I&C Engineering experience? Do you have your PE license? What state(s)? Our client requires you to be eligible to work in the United States, what is your current work status?

• Please detail experience demonstrating your ability to perform complex I&C design assignments that will apply engineering techniques similar to those found in chemical process or utility plants.

• What specific experience do you have preparing logic diagrams and utilizing advanced electrical I&C engineering techniques, codes and regulations? What is your level of proficiency with InTools for preparation of calculations and datasheets?

• Where do you currently live and why are you interested in a 3 to 4 month contract in the Richmond, KY area?

• What is your current or most recent hourly rate of pay and keeping in mind there is no travel or per diem available what is your desired hourly rate of pay for this position?
