Laboratory Technician - Chemical/QC/QA/Reports

Location: Charleston, WV, USA
A global client that produces materials used in the manufacturing of photography, medical imaging, automotive, and other electronic devices is actively searching Lab Technicians. These positions are located in West Virginia. Note, the client is willing to negotiate to find the best candidates for these long-term positions.

Responsibilities:

-> Will perform ICP Analysis
-> Will ensure QA and QC standards
-> Write technical reports as needed
-> Will work overtime

Requirements:

-> Must have at least an associates degree in chemical engineering, BSChe is a big plus
-> Must have experience in working in a lab environment
-> Must have experience performing ICP Analysis
-> Must have experience working with ICP Spectrometers and other devices
-> Must have experience working with base metals and compounds

Questions you will be asked:

• Do you currently hold a degree in chemical engineering? Yes or No. If not, what is your related degree?

• What are your previous experiences as a lab technician? How many years, where have you worked and what did you do?

• What experience do you have with QC and QA procedures employed in a controlled lab environment?

• With which do you have direct experience: producing and reporting ICP analysis, working with ICP Spectrometers and other devices, working with base metals and compounds?

• Local candidates are preferred; however, if you need to relocate, would you be willing and able to negotiate at your own expense?
