Client has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Reliability Engineer - Rotating Equipment for a position in the Baton Rouge, LA area. Client is seeking candidates with a maintenance background in the petrochemical or chemical refining industry. Pay depends on experience. Great benefits including relocation assistance.

Responsibilities:

-> Supports the refinery goals of safe, stable, and reliable operations
-> Provide engineering support to the operating areas of the refinery ensuring the integrity, reliability and sustainability of all rotating equipment
-> Diagnose mechanical reliability problems and provide solutions that solve and eliminate failures
-> Manage reliability improvement projects
-> Facilitate Root Cause Failure Analysis, etc

Requirements:

-> BSME
-> 2-10 years of maintenance and reliability experience in a petrochemical or chemical refinery, petrochemical preferred (maintenance experience is required)
-> Proficient in the diagnostics and repair of rotating equipment including centrifugal pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, and gear boxes
-> Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Vibration Analysis desired
-> Background in pump hydraulics and compressor performance desired
