THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas Energy company to provide an Interface Engineer (Modules & Buildings) for a position based in Stavanger. Occasional travel to other project locations and Kazakhstan. Contract duration one year (renewable). Position is residential 5/2. Excellent daily rates.
THE PERSON
Minimum of 15 years related experience in an offshore oil and gas project environment. At least 5 years in a similar position of project engineering / project management. Experience of large multidiscipline projects. Caspian Project knowledge and experience. Networking and Interface experience. Hook-up projects of similar size or complexity. Monitor / coordinate Hook-up team interface with CET (Central Engineering Team), ICAT (Commissioning Team), Completion Team, Package Management Teams (for Modules, Pipe racks, and Builds etc.), other Hook-up & Installation functional groups and Contractor, with special focus on Interface with Package Management Teams for Modules and Buildings.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Engineering Degree or equivalent Technical Diploma in appropriate discipline. Ability to identify problems and propose solutions; Good communication skills, verbal, written and presentational; Conversant with standard computer software packages; Ability to work unsupervised; Team Player. Fluent in written and spoken English. Norwegian / Russian / Kazakh would be an advantage.
