Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Manufacturing/Screw Machines/Automotive

A leading manufacturerof precision screw machined components is currently seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for their plant near Charlotte, North Carolina.

Responsibilities:

-> Assist Maintenance and Operator personnel in troubleshooting and correcting multi spindle screw machine capability problems or down problems
-> Design fixtures as necessary for machining processes
-> Create new job layouts, including defining all cams, gears, attachments, holders any other related items pertinent to that job
-> Order any tooling holders, cams, gears or special attachments require to run any specific job
-> Coordinate the process of updating a job when a customer change notice comes in
-> Perform cost justifications for new equipment, tool holders, and automation
-> Responsible for directing the actions of the Tool Designer/CAD Operator, setting the priorities

Requirements:

-> Four year Engineering/Technical degree or equivalent (Mechanical Degrees preferred)
-> At least 10+ years experience as a Manufacturing Engineer
-> Experience with Multi-Spindle Screw Machines
-> Experience with ISO/TS 16949 procedures and work instructions
-> Experience with programming CNC machines
-> Experienced in the automotive components industry (plus)
