Excellent opportunity for an ENGINEERING MANAGER for a well established growing manufacturing firm in northeast New Jersey. Growth opportunity taking this state-of-the-art company to the next level.

Responsibilities:

-> Manage a staff of over 20 engineers/designers developing new product designs in the area of boilers and heat exchangers
-> Manage complex projects in a multidisciplinary engineering environment interfacing across company departments to ensure product designs integrate engineering, design, performance, and manufacturing parameters
-> Manage the development team in developing products that target company marketing and technology strategy from concept demonstration to product market introduction focusing on speed to market ensuring product development and designs are completed within the schedule and budget commitments
-> Support manufacturing production in implementing fabrication and testing as well as marketing and sales in meeting clients needs and expectations
-> Establish engineering goals and objectives in support of corporate objectives, reviewing project proposals establishing schedules, budgets, implementating strategy, and staff and resource requirements
-> Assist executive team in establishing and achieving financial objectives

Requirements:

-> BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or academic equivalent with a strong focus on thermo dynamics and combustion, A PLUS to have MS Degree
-> Experience having managed an engineering/design department
-> Experience in project management across disciplines and supporting manufacturing production, sales, and marketing
-> A PLUS to have HVAC or controls experience and/or experience in product development
