Manufacturing Engineer - Medical Device/Project Manager/Quality

IMMEDIATE OPPORTUNITY in Santa Barbara CA for a Manufacturing Engineer to work with a Worldwide Manufacturer of Medical Equipment. This is a contract position that could possibly covert to perm.

Responsibilities:

-> Determines manufacturing operation requirements and process parameters, Develops advanced manufacturing systems and processes
-> Develops and implements strategic plans, Develops plans to evaluate process repeatability and stability
-> Supports manufacturing, development, and implementation processes, Ensures compliance with GMPs, Implements quality system improvements

Requirements:

-> Strong project management skills (e.g., planning, written and verbal communication, risk mitigation), including using MS Project Mechanical engineering education preferred
-> Proven ability to drive for results, working in a cross-functional team, including multiple external subcontractors
-> Medical device experience Minimum 8 years experience understanding of regulatory requirements understanding of Quality System budgeting
-> Project Record-keeping and Documents Software Application Knowledge/Engineering: MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Project

• Do you have Strong project management skills (e.g., planning, written and verbal communication, risk mitigation), including using MS Project? 4 Year Degree required Mechanical Engineering education preferred. When and where did you graduate. Do you a have any additional education or certification?

• Describe your experience and knowledge in Medical device manufacturing, Minimum 8 years experience and your understanding of regulatory requirements and Quality System budgeting.

• Describe of give an example of your proven ability to drive for results, working in a cross-functional team, including multiple external subcontractors. When and Where.

• Describe your experience with Project Record-keeping and Documents Software Application Knowledge-Engineering: MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Project.
