Mechanical Drafter - Mechanical/AutoCAD/Construction

Location: Greenbelt, MD, USA
6 month contract position located Northeast outside the Capital Beltway in the DC area for a Mechanical AutoCAD ADT Drafter with facilities engineering and construction experience.

Responsibilities:

-> Prepare engineering drawings in AutoCAD using ADT
-> Ability to read orthographic (2D) and/or isometric (3D) designs and supplier/manufacturer drawings
-> Compile data and perform dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings
-> Take engineering notes, specifications, rough sketches, etc. and formalize into working drawings
-> Other duties as required

Requirements:

-> AutoCAD experience required, ADT experience preferred
-> 2-4 years construction CAD experience
-> Experience with mechanical drawings/specifications preferred
-> Able to read 2D and/or 3D drawings
-> Requires a working knowledge of design/drafting standards, practices, and techniques

• What is your level of proficiency with AutoCAD and what version(s) are you proficient with? How much experience do you have working with ADT and what is your level of proficiency? Are you able to read 2D and-or 3D drawings.

• Please detail experience that will demonstrate to the client your ability to prepare mechanical drawings - specification in AutoCAD for facilities construction.

• Where do you currently live and how close are you to a position located in the Greenbelt, MD area?

• What is your current or most recent hourly rate of pay and what is your desired hourly rate of pay for this position?
