Contracts Administrator - Construction/Bid/Projects

Well Established Construction Company in KUWAIT, is aggressively looking for a Contract Administrator to oversee the execution & administration of complex constructions and services contracts to include request for Proposal, Request for Qualification & bid documents for their large construction Projects.

Responsibilities:

-> Using company-selected systems, provides services in support of engineering, procurement, consulting, and construction services
-> Oversee the execution and administration of complex constructions and services contracts to include request for Proposal, Request for Qualification and bid documents
-> Liaison with Engineering regarding the technical content of each Inquiry and Subcontract; negotiate change orders and other commercial oriented matters through close-out
-> Deliver project profitability. Analyze contractors quotation, technically and commercially
-> Select contractors and manage the relationship with them throughout their contracts. Handle claims through negotiation, conciliation, mediation and arbitration
-> Generate professional services agreements, project specific contracts, request for service, and purchase order documents
-> Manages the commercial aspects of the subcontracts from inquiry through award, execution, and close-out issue inquiry packages in accordance with execution schedule
-> Supports and manages the bid solicitation process for service and supply contracts and lead the commercial evaluation of contractor-prepared bids for services
-> In addition to other responsibilities that are typical and required for this contracts administration position

Requirements:

-> B.S Degree in Civil Engineering
-> Experience in Large Construction Infrastructure Projects is a MUST
-> Minimum Fifteen years Experience as a Contracts Administrator for Large Construction Projects
-> Must have lots of Middle East Construction Experience ( Do not apply for this position if you lack any Middle East Experience )
-> Authorized to work in the U.S, CANADA and EUROPE
-> A Valid Passport
-> Must be ready to depart within few weeks to project site

• How many years of Experience do you have in the Middle East?( Candidates without MIDDLE EAST EXPERIENCE will not be considered.)

• What is your current or most recent salary? Please break down your base salary and any bonus etc? Do you also have any memberships and affiliations with Internationally accepted applicable professional Institutes or Societies?(PER CLIENT REQUEST)
