A leading solid state lighting and power conversion company in south central New York has a ground floor opening for a Solid State Lighting Sales and Business Development Manager. Excellent growth opportunity with a stable, growing privately held company.Relocation and excellent benefits are provided.

Responsibilities:

-> Define parameters to management and engineering for new product development based on data from research, potential customers and company's technical capabilities
-> Develop key accounts and establish yearly sales goals for Solid Sate Lighting Products
-> Establish sales and technical relationships with companies such as users, integrators,manufactures,partners and distributors
-> Perform a competitive and market analysis for company's current and future solid state lighting products

Requirements:

-> Five years of lighting/display and or Electronics related marketing experience required
-> A minimum of a four year degree in marketing or electrical engineering or equivalent. An MBA is preferred
-> Demonstrated capability in successful sales and marketing strategy and product launches is required
-> Strong interpersonal communication and writing skills required
-> Demonstrated project management skills required
