Location: USA GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities include: Applicant will support operating and maintenance personnel in Continuous Improvement work including: provide coaching, facilitation and leadership for improved Safety and Operating Results through application of Lean Tools, Visual Management, Problem Solving and other Continuous Improvement tools. Assist with improvement projects, such as analysis of problem and/or opportunity, problem solving, planning, scheduling, measuring results and progress tracking. Provide reports as necessary to all operation levels, region and corporate as necessary. Other duties as assigned.

SELECTION CRITERIA
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants should meet these basic requirements:
1. Five or more years of operational or maintenance experience.
2. Computer skills and knowledge of MS office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
3. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
4. Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and work with minimum supervision.
5. Ensure a safe environment for self and others.
6. Team leader, problem solver, and good oral and written skills.
7. Ability to present, facilitate and lead site based improvement initiatives which require an understanding of mine operations, accountability and cooperation toward shared goals.
8. Demonstrable ability to perform the essential functions of this job.
