Systems Engineer - Surveillance/Sensor/ Cameras/Systems

Leading supplier of communications and specialized products and services to the government seeks two Surveillance Systems Engineers for it's Security Solutions Group in Northern Virginia (Dulles toll road corridor).

Responsibilities:

-> Lead a project team in the development of integrated solutions dealing with surveillance
-> Develop technical and user documentation and training materials for integrated systems
-> Candidates will be working with video analytics and sensor placement tools

Requirements:

-> BS in Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering
-> 7 to 10 years experience in applicable field solving system, preferably sensor integration for surveillance, and physical securities
-> Strong background in Systems Engineering particularly in integrating Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) components with custom hardware and software to create total solutions
-> Experience with Tower surveillance and securities, the more experience with cameras, radar, sensors etc. the better
-> Experience with technical material and system export controls
-> A good understanding of business management and sales and marketing principles is a big plus but not mandatory
-> Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) licensing
-> DOORS (Requirement Management), Microsoft Project (Project Management)
-> US Citizen and willing to travel up to 50% of the time
