Location: Northridge, CA, USA
IMMEDIATE OPPORTUNITY in Northern Los Angeles CA for a Manufacturing Engineer to work with a Worldwide Manufacturer of Medical Equipment. This is a contract position.

Responsibilities:

-> Creates and delivers presentations throughout the organization, Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
-> Determines manufacturing operation requirements and process parameters
-> Participates in procedure writing and review and performs deliverable checklist audits
-> Develops product and process improvements

Requirements:

-> High School Diploma or Equivalent Industry Experience: 1 - 3 Years
-> Candidate must be comfortable working, at times, considerable amounts of over time
-> Must have excellent writing and verbal communication skills
-> Experience in Medical Industry manufacturing documentation is desired
-> PLC Controls: HMI Development PLC Programming Software Application Knowledge/Engineering: MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point
-> Typical Microsoft Office experience is a must. Solidworks is used for tooling and fixtures. Analytical software: MiniTab, Medstat
-> Experience with Chemical Species Gas Sensors, Fluid Sensors, Pressure Sensors, Temperature Sensors is a Definite Plus

• Do you have a BS is Engineering with a minimum of Three YEARS in a medical device regulated manufacturing environment as a manufacturing engineer ? REQUIRED When and Where Post Graduate Degree Preferred Describe any additional education or certification

• Describe your experience and knowledge in supporting or designing experiments(DOE) and Statistical Process Controls (SPC)? When and Where Describe. Required

• Describe your experience with giving presentations? You must also be comfortable working with a variety of audiences. Have you had experience with PLC Controls: HMI Development PLC Programming BIG PLUS Software Application Knowledge-Engineering: MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point? When and Where Describe - REQUIRED

• Do you experience with Chemical Species Gas Sensors, Fluid Sensors, Pressure Sensors, Temperature Sensors? When and Where Describe.

• Are you comfortable with working, at times, considerable amounts of over time?
