Our client, leading petroleum additive company is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Customer Technical Service team in Richmond, VA. This individual would work jointly with the sales team and provide technical support directly to major oil/automotive company customers in the fuel additive product lines. The Customer Technical Service department provides technical support to the sales engineering force as it pursues new business opportunities. This position also enjoys many opportunities, including personal and professional growth and room for advancement. Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Mechanical Engineering and 3-5 years of experience preferably in the performance engine testing/fuel additive industry but NOT REQUIRED. Candidates from a speciality chemical companies would be a PLUS. Skill requirements include multi-tasking, project management, technical writing, communication and presentations.
Required Skills for Applications Engineer Job:
MUST HAVE A B.S. IN CHEMISTRY CHEMICAL ENGINEERING OR MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
MUST HAVE 2-5 YEARS OF APPLICATION ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE
MUST HAVE AN OUTSTANDING PERSONALITY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE FOCUSED
EXPERIENCE WITH SAE OR ASTM IS HIGHLY DESIRED
