Job Description
Provide safety support for an offshore platform. The position is for six to twelve months, and is based in Malaysia. The candidate must meet the following requirements:
• B.Sc. in Chemical, Process, Safety or Mechanical Engineering;
• At least 12 years' process/safety design work in the oil and gas industries or equivalent.
• 10 years in risk and safety, including process safety management and asset integrity management.
• Experience of:
o HEMP analysis;
o HAZID and HAZOP studies;
o Fire and explosion analysis;
o Fire protection;
o Plant Layout Methodology;
o Escape, Evacuation & Rescue Analysis;
o Temporary Refuge Analysis;
o Emergency Systems Survivability Analysis;
o ALARP;
o Development of HSE/Safety Cases;
o Safety codes and standards. Knowledge of Asset Integrity and Process
Knowledge of the risk management systems and software used by Shell is highly desirable.
