Location: Saudi Arabia POSITION DESCRIPTION: Responsible for the preparation, review, monitoring, analysis and reporting of all cost data for projects associated with capital expenditure program, as well as the division's net direct expenditures ( NDE ), Annual operating plan and five year business plan assists division Business Administrator and Project Manager in all cost related meters, directs contractor CTS Cost Engineers / Analysts in the preparation, review, monitoring & reporting on the following: Monthly project reports inoculation project planning updates (PPU) and monthly project updates (MPU) particularly cost commitments, expenditures and forecasts, monthly NDE cost sheet reports analysis and verification, Quarterly Variance Analysis, Accountability reports, Annual operating plan and five year business plan. Monthly information system (MIS) and balance Score Card (BSC) reporting. Opening and financial closing of account for capital projects. Review and analyze claims and change orders on project contracts, assists in preparation of cost portion of engineering procurement and construction contracts.
SELECTION CRITERIA: Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Economics, Business Administration, or Accounting, or closely related major. Experience: Minimum of 12 years cost engineering experience including at least five years devoted to petrochemical, refinery, pipeline, or power generation projects. Must be familiar with construction practices, materials, equipment. OR Education: Certificate by Institute of Building, Institute of Quantity Surveying, Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, HNC, HND. Experience: Twelve years cost engineering experience including at least six years concentrated toward heavy industrial capital projects. Must be familiar with construction practices, materials, equipment. Must have ability to communicate fluently in both spoken and written English.
