Project Engineer - Roads / Major Highways

Recently, this highly successful civil contractor has won several major road and infrastructure projects in and around the Brisbane area. Their growth and the anticipated award of another major project have created an outstanding opportunity for a Project Engineer to join their highly professional Project team.

The project involves the extension and refurbishment of an existing section of road and will involve bulk earthworks, drainage, underground services, culverts, pavement / asphalt and traffic management. Reporting directly to the Project Manager your responsibilities will include:

On-site supervision and management of subcontractors, resolving technical queries on-site and liaising with design consultants, assisting with weekly and monthly cost & progress reporting Contract Administration, Assisting with claims and variations, QA and OH&S.

It is anticipated that you will have at least 4yrs experience in civil contracting and be able to demonstrate a track record of helping to deliver major infrastructure projects on-time and within budget. The ongoing career development is second to none and you will be groomed for a Project Management position by working closely with experienced, respected Senior Engineers.
