The company are one of Australias top contractors huge portfolio of some of the most prolific civils projects. We are looking for a dedicated Estimator to work in the Brisbane area to work on schemes upwards of $100m. This is a chance to work for a company with real diversity that is a true success story. Due to this factor they are expanding their civil infrastructure and engineering department.

The company has one of the best retention rates in the southern hemisphere and are going from strength to strength due to the success of their project delivery. They tender for both negotiated projects as well as winning work in open tender with a ratio of approximately 60 / 40.

Position

This has come about due to the success of the company in the civils arena and they are keen to bolster a solid team and concentrate on winning work in open tender. We are looking for someone from a Civils background such as highways, water, structures, marine or power.

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for:

* Developing and carrying out the estimating functions
* Tendering for both internal projects and for external clients
* Having input at the early stages of a project from identification and feasibility through to project award
* Putting together cost plans and estimating costings for Civil engineering projects predominantly Infrastructure projects
* This will need someone who is familiar with the Queensland market and requires you to be based in Brisbane.
