Senior Project Engineer

Our client is one of the top performing civil construction contractors within Australia. They are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer for an ongoing project which will encompass road, earthworks and concrete structures.
As second in command to the project manager you will be responsible for planning, organising and directing the project engineering team to deliver the project on time, within budget and to appropriate standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Ensure implementation of PM systems.
- Develop and deliver PM plans
- Maintain productive relationships with all parties on site.
- Lead and develop an effective and productive team.
- Contributing to the Health & Safety Culture

The successful candidate must have a relevant tertiary qualification and a minimum of 5 years previous experience as a Project Engineer on either a road, rail or earthworks project.

A strong technical background must be supported by a proven track record of safety and teamwork in a major civil project within Australia or New Zealand.

Market leading salary packages including site allowances are on offer for this project and it is sure to lead on to a project management role on future projects.
