FIFO ex Cairns or Darwin
Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the diagnostic and repairs of a wide variety of heavy equipment and support equipment including, but not limited to O&K, Komatsu, Caterpillar, Mack and Toyota.
The successful applicant will have proven ability to perform a wide range of maintenance activities whilst exhibiting a high regard for safety.
Duties will include:
* Performing general maintenance, electrical and air-conditioning repair work on various mobile equipment and in the field when required
* Control machinery downtime by effective work habits
* Be flexible during work periods to maximise machinery availability
* Retain accurate history of machinery through effective communication of all aspects of job to Supervisor and other members of the Maintenance Team
* Maintain a safe and clean workplace
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Trade qualified
* Experience in mining or heavy industry
* Hold a current “C” or “HR” class drivers licence
* Gas handling and relevant air-conditioning tickets and licenses are essential
* Forklift and overhead crane tickets are desirable
In addition, it would be desirable to be proficient in GSAP or similar computer based maintenance programs, with a basic understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Employment is in accordance with the 2007 Certified Agreement as well as Company Policies and Procedures. This position will consist of a continuous shift roster of a 14 x 7, FIFO ex Cairns or Darwin.
