Reservoir Engineer needed for a full-time opportunity in Houston, TX. The ideal match for this position will have a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering, a minimum of eight years experience including waterflood projects and exposure to EOR processes and projects and must be proficient in computer software programs (PHDWin, PETRA, OFM, etc.) and possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with counterparts and other disciplines. Responsibilities include identifying EOR projects, determining EOR processes to utilize including chemical, polymer, MEOR, thermal and CO2; studying, proposing, implementing, monitoring and adjusting EOR projects to ensure maximum rate of return and reserve recoveries, coordinating existing primary and secondary upside projects, developing and growing the reserve base by identifying EOR opportunities in the capital budget system.
