An International Consultancy requires a Principal Underground Mining Engineer for the Moscow office. Duties will include consulting on projects for Russian clients and undertaking studies related primarily to the mining industry, including: project permitting for operations, reclamation and closure and specialist consulting for assignments such as due diligence assessments.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Mining Engineering, a minimum of 15 years of underground related operational and mine planning experience, have demonstrated leadership and managerial experience and have knowledge of computerised mine planning tools, e.g. Gemcom, Vulcan, Datamine. Some prior consulting experience and knowledge of Russian an advantage.
In addition to a competitive salary, a performance bonus, accommodation allowance, and shareholding opportunities in the company will be offered. Commuting arrangements may be accommodated where this is feasible.
