Senior Drilling Engineer

Lead Drilling Engineer required for an initial 6 month project with a to a long-term extension.

Duties will include (along with others):

Screen potential conceptual design alternatives, facilitated by a technical risked benefit analysis, justifying recommendation for preselection of strategies to be carried through to select phase;
Providing necessary well engineering input to demonstrate the decision/screening process has been done on maximising value to project;
Identify technology studies or gaps, where applicable that require addressing during select phase for the pre-selected strategy alternatives determining a recommended defined technology development plan;
Assist in development of design basis including depletion driven impacts and trajectory planning;
Liaise with partners and technical well engineering perspective;
Ensuring and demonstrating what lessons have been incorporated into decision process from benchmark HPHT / EHPHT experience.
