Principal Process Engineer required for a leading global provider of engineering and construction services, technology products and integrated solutions covering a number of industries, including refining & chemicals, mining & metals, oil & gas production and power generation.
The role will involve the preparation and developing of process deliverables to a high technical standard. Also directing others in the production of these deliverables and checking these deliverables from both a conceptual and detailed perspective. Experience in the following required: Process Flow Diagrams (including heat and mass balances), Equipment Process Data Sheet, Process Design Criteria, Engineering Flow Diagrams (P&ID’s), Utility Flow Diagrams, Instrument Process Data, Shielding and other Engineering calculations.
Candidates will need to be familiar with all issues connected with process safety, including design and specification of relief and venting systems. The Principal Process Engineer will serve, when required, as chair of HAZOP sessions.
This position is based in the north of England.
