Our client, an emerging mid-tier resource house has a mandate for further growth and is now seeking a Database Facilitator / Geologist to support the Geologist team.
As the Database Facilitator / Geologist based in Brisbane, you will fulfil an important and valued role by providing technical support to the Exploration / Mine Geologists.
Your primary responsibility is the overall management of the geological database pertaining to a multitude of coal tenements across Queensland. This may involve all facets of data management such as collection, analysis, auditing and final presentation (drawings and graphics). To be a successful Database Facilitator / Geologist it is foreseen that you will possess the following:
• Advanced computer literacy with Minex software experience and prior exposure to GIS systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Exploration geology and or coal mining experience is highly advantageous but not essential
