This South Australian junior explorer is searching for their Principal Reservoir Engineer, to assist in the establishment of their new frontier exploration program. Based in the Adelaide CBD and reporting directly to the Exploration Manager, you will be responsible for Reservoir/Petroleum Engineering management of a number of onshore oil and/or gas fields.

Specific responsibilities will include:

* Reservoir characterisation / performance prediction

* Development and depletion planning

* Formulation of field development plans

* Provide field reserve and performance estimates

* Determining drilling potential

* Expanding organisational capabilities

* Developing annual production forecasting

* Preparing documentation and presentations for project approval

Additionally, you will plan, gather, analyse and prepare geological reservoir production data. You will also implement and analyse pressure tests, volumetric calculations, decline curve analysis, and material balance methods.

Successful candidates will possess a bachelor degree in Reservoir or Petroleum Engineering, with extensive experience within the onshore petroleum industry. Experience with advanced reservoir engineering simulation techniques along with well testing and production is further required. In addition, project leadership and management is desirable for this principal role.
