GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities include: The successful candidate will be responsible for development of long range mine plans for Turquoise Ridge Joint Venture. Additional responsibilities will include the development, management, tracking, and reporting of mine budgets, capital development, key performance indicators, and life of mine plans. The candidate will also manage the planning of new mine development and annual ore reserves in conjunction with the geology department.
SELECTION CRITERIA
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:
• BS in Mining Engineering or equivalent required
• Minimum of three (3) years mine planning and budget experience required
• Minimum of two (2) years production operations or contractor management preferred
• Broad and comprehensive practical experience in underground mining required
• Demonstrated proficiency in project management, design and planning software, such as MS Project, Vulcan, Mine 2-4D and EPS required
• Demonstrated capacity to execute and hold self, as well as others accountable for results required
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral required
• Excellent safety and attendance record required
