Plate Rolling Operator

Our client who has a reputation as the industry leader is currently seeking a Roll Plate Operator based in Brisbane's South-western suburbs to join their staff.

To be successful in this role your responsibilities will include:

* Operation of Plate rolling machines.
* Production of quality rolling i.e., cylinders, half cylinders, ellipses, cones etc.
* Understanding machine setting and ability to adjust to meet quality requirements.
* Quality/ quantity/ dimensional tolerance checks.
* Meeting the scheduled times to ensure customer satisfaction.
* To load machines as per schedule and ensure parts are marked in accordance with work instructions.
* Maintaining and providing a safe workplace in accordance with OHS standards.
* Work and collaborate as a team to achieve the best outcome.
* To work overtime when/ if required.

It is essential that you have the following criteria:

* Excellent knowledge of the Plate Rolling operation.
* Ability to read work shop drawings and read written descriptions.
* Demonstrate ability to calculate E.R.L and cord lengths.
* Ability to read and complete job sheets
* Be highly organised/ motivated.
* Ability to work with minimum supervision
* Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
* Fork lift/ Crane License would be advantageous but not essential.

MUST be available for immediate start
