Over Head Wiring Project Engineer

We are currently looking for Electrical Engineers with experience of Transmission Line Design to design and manage your own projects.

You will be designing HV over head wiring (132KV and 330KV) with both steel and wood structures. Projects will be both new lines and reconditioning. Some projects of underground cabling 132kv will also be involved.

As well as designing, you will Project Manage the estimating, design, survey work, purchasing of materials and hand over to the field group for installation.

You must have relevant previous experience. Your software skills are likely to include TLS CAD, PCS CAD, or Livewire, and also Microstation, Powerdraft or CAD. In addition you should have some Project Management understanding and capabilities. Ideally you will have a tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Australian experience isn't essential. However you must have full rights to work in Australia.

This role is open to applicants interested in both contract and permanent assignments.
