POSITION DESCRIPTION
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct all engine room operations on the installation in a safe and efficient manner.
Principle Functions of the Position:
Supervise all Engine room operations i.e. operation of main engines and other equipment.
Ensure that all marine related operations are executed within the parameters established by:
Regulatory authorities; COMPANY Marine Operations Manual;
Requirements and provisions of the COMPANY safety and corporate management systems.
Maintain communication with other departments regarding work priorities and operational requirements so as to minimize delay.
Safety Critical Functions
Participate in all emergency drills with duties as determined by the Station Bill and Emergency Response Manual.
Experience Factors
Minimum 5 years offshore experience.
Previous FPSO experience.

Academic Achievements / CertificationsMEP
Good standard of literacy (English language) and mathematical skills
Work Place Assessor
Offshore Survival with HUET
Demonstrated Knowledge / Skills
Supervisory skills
Knowledge of certification and inspection requirements for lifting equipment
Awareness of hazards and risks of offshore lifting operations
