THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by an international oil & gas operating company to provide a high calibre Engineering Manager to work in Dubai (6/2) with future move to site in Algeria (28/28). May be required to work at other company facilities as required. 12 month (renewable) contract. Very competitive rate, excellent terms and conditions. CCL's IMG Geo Group Health Insurance.
THE PERSON
Over 20 years of experience primarily in engineering management and working on major capital oil and gas projects both for an Operator as well as for an internationally recognized Contractor. Management of project budgets in the order of $ 300 million/year. Previous experience of engineering management of design, procurement and construction of grassroots oil and gas production facilities - preferably in Middle East or North Africa.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Mechanical, Process, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineer degree level, plus additional training in project management skills. Professional Engineer qualifications. Management of teams / interface with project teams / groups with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and numerous / complex relationships between companies / subcontractors. Influential in decision making regarding the facility costs, schedules and quality. Technical and financial management abilities. Competent in contract negotiations. Ability to lead a multi-discipline engineering team who are supervising the work of several EPC Contractors. Fluent English; French advantageous.
