Kinetic Recruitment is a leading supplier of engineering recruitment solutions to the Rail Sector.

Our client is a global leader in railway signalling and control equipment and due to a significant increase in the number of rail infrastructure projects they have an immediate vacancy for an Estimator with a strong background in Electrical & Civil projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Involved in electrical estimating of signalling and control systems of Rail projects.
* Providing the necessary estimating strategies, procedures and tools to ensure successful project execution.
* Proposal estimating, preparation and analysis of detailed estimating plans, overall cost estimates and summaries and detailed estimate reporting.
* Work alongside the contracts admin and construction teams to ensure accurate scope definition and corporate strategy requirements.
* Delivery of estimates that are: High quality in terms of content, consistency, completeness, and compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

* At least 2 years experience in Electrical / Signalling estimating experience.
* Knowledge of estimates through an engineering background.
* Tertiary qualified in Electrical Engineering or Electrical advanced trade.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to communicate with clients, senior management and internal staff.
* Ability to consult, review, prepare and negotiate contract and tender documentation.
* Proven estimating experience in the Australian engineering / construction sector is essential and only candidates with eligibility to work in Australia will be considered.
