Description: The Company Development Company Project Management & Execution Project Services Cost & Schedule Engineer The Company offers career opportunities with the premier company in the petroleum industry. MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS: Assist Area Supervisors in coordinating the cost & schedule/project controls activities within assigned areas Assist Area Cost & Schedule Specialist with C&S Technology, operated by others (OBO) Asset Coordinators, Development Planning and other groups as needed to confirm timely completion of required work deliverables associated with assigned projects TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: •Assist with the effort for: -Project Estimate / Schedule review process through project Gates and Check Points -Preparation of Check Estimates / Schedules to compare with OBO Operator- prepared submittals -Ad hoc Estimate / Schedule assessments (verification of project cost & schedule bases) •Assist Area Advisors with updates of Monthly Project Status Summary Report (PSSR) •Participate with Area Advisor in capturing cost & schedule lessons learned and best practices May assist with Project Controls tools implementation, The Company Capital Projects System (EMCAPS) deliverables, ongoing follow-up and assurance in support of the Project Controls SME / follow-up process Promote and facilitate effective communication, teamwork, and alignment among Cost & Schedule Development personnel and others QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: •BS in Engineering required; (MBA, MS Engineering Management, or MS Senior professional position preferred) •Proficient in cost estimating, project planning and project controls •Strong influencing, consulting, mentoring, analytical, and computing skills •Adaptability to changing priorities Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask and respond quickly to urgent analysis requests The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer
