Qualifications:
Professional Geophysicist with 10+ years of progressive experience in the Oil & Gas Industry evaluating clatics.
Responsibilities:
Ability to generate prospects.
Prepare integrated evaluations of natural gas prospectivity and structural interpretations in assigned areas / fields for the purpose of planning, designing and optimizing well drilling programs as well as reserve and economic evaluations.
Provide and maintain sound geophysical models for the purpose of strategic extension and growth.
Work closely with geologists to integrate seismic data with geological data and models.
Work closely with reservoir and production engineers to integrate geological and geophysical data and models in sound engineering and financial frameworks that meet company targets.
Requirements:
Proven prospect generating skills.
Track record in finding oil and gas.
Ability to work as an effective team player in a multi-disciplinary, high-energy environment.
Must have strong knowledge of Geophysical tools in WCSB.
Must have a good understanding of seismic data evaluation and integration to geology.
Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely.
