As one of Australasia's leading service providers, this organisation offers quality engineering solutions to the electricity and energy industry. With capabilities ranging from design through to construction, maintenance and asset management, they are able to provide clients full turnkey support for projects in the generation, transmission and distribution sectors.

In order to consolidate and develop their Queensland project portfolio, they are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to help in developing their Brisbane team.

Your main responsibility will be to manage the design for major electrical infrastructure developments. You will also be required to assist in cost estimates and project tenders and work closely with clients to resolve any engineering issues.

Your experience will ideally have been gained in the field of transmission substation design, providing you a strong understanding of engineering requirements from 132kv through to 500kv substations. You will have a demonstrated work history in areas such as primary and secondary plant design, main transformers, circuit breakers, current and voltage transformers, protection scheme design, AC and DC systems, SCADA and switchboards. You will embrace the challenge of completing work to time and budget constraints and have a client focused and results orientated approach. Previous experience in the capacity of a manager or team leader will also be beneficial for this leadership role.
