IT Solutions Architect

The Architecture & Technology Team, as part of the IT Solutions Delivery Group, is responsible for providing leadership to ensure Woodside's Information Technology investments are optimising value for the entire organisation.

There is an opportunity for an experienced Solutions Architect to join the team to assist in the ongoing development of the Technical Architecture and assist business projects to effectively leverage the technology components. Reporting to the Architecture & Technology Manager, you will also be required to provide consulting and design services to project teams and service providers as well as guide and contribute to the outcomes of the various IT Architecture domain teams.

The successful candidate will be a motivated professional who has significant knowledge and practical experience in Information Technology. You will have at least 3 years experience working previously as a Solutions Architect or IT Consultant and have a proven capacity to engage with stakeholders, understand requirements, assemble technology solutions and deliver quality documentation.

Ideally, you will hold a degree in Information Technology and have significant experience in at least 2 of the following technology domains: desktop, server, network or applications. Knowledge in one or more of the following areas would also be considered advantageous: virtualisation; large scale storage solutions; service oriented architecture; mixed Windows/Linux/Solaris environments; and/or Microsoft technologies.
