Materials Planning Controller - Production Chemicals

In this vital role you will ensure that the continuous re-supply process of chemicals and control fluids for each of our hydro-carbon production facilities are co-ordinated in line with demand and required service levels.

Skills and experiences required:

* Experience in all facets of effective materials demand management associated with production consumables (particularly chemicals and fluids) used in the hydro-carbon production industry.
* An understanding of statistical modelling and KANBAN techniques to manage the re-supply of production consumables in a continuous production environment.
* Previous experience setting-up and using SAP MM to efficiently manage production consumables inventory within a complex supply chain.
* Experience in mapping-out end-to-end materials management process steps, and converting these into approved Guideline documents to be used by all relevant parties engaged in or serviced by the production chemicals re-supply system.
* Knowledge of production planning concepts in the hydro-carbon industry and the chemical manufacturing industry.
* Knowledge of dangerous goods management and MSDS requirements.

Tertiary qualifications:

* A degree in Business, Marketing or Logistics is preferred.

This is a crucial contract position in Woodside's supply chain function and requires a committed and dedicated individual with the desire to succeed in a growing organisation.
