The Production Planner role contributes to maximise the value of the NWS integrated production system by producing short term production plans within supply/demand constraints. This role provides a critical interface between North West Shelf Operations and Offtake Planners. The Production Planner also provides feedback on production performance and enhances the general understanding of production system optimisation issues and operational constraints.

Successful performance in this Position depends upon clear and frequent communication and maintaining a good working relationship with multiple parties.

Key Accountabilities:

* Modelling the NWS Gas System to produce optimal weekly targets and 120-day production plans for the NWSV integrated production system.
* Identifying and evaluating short term opportunities to maximise value from the integrated production system.
* Conducting the weekly production scheduling meeting between Perth and Karratha Operations and support teams.
* Conducting the weekly optimisation meeting between Perth, NWSV Assets (Operations) and support teams.
* Representing NWS Gas System and Production Planning at the morning Operations Managers meeting.
* Contributing to the monthly & annual production loss reports.
* Acting as custodian for the main production planning tool - Prosched.
* Coordinating across-asset information flow for planning of major production system shutdowns and events.

Qualifications, skills and experience

* The candidate will require demonstrated competency in planning, scheduling or optimisation.
* The candidate will also require excellent facilitation and communication skills (written and verbal).
* Previous knowledge of integrated production systems such as the North West Shelf would be advantageous.
* Oil and Gas experience would be a bonus, but not essential

The Production Division acts as a united function to the business and is therefore seeking individuals that are team orientated, display corporate citizenship and able to lead by example within Woodside. A strong commitment to safety with exceptional organisational and communication skills is also very desirable. This is an outstanding broadening opportunity for a technical, commercial, planner or technician.
