Regarded as one of the world’s most successful engineering firms, this company has successfully delivered some of Australia’s most challenging subsea developments.

Currently engaged on a large deep water FEED and EPCI project that will require them to develop highly detailed vessel specifications for a range of installation activities, our client is now looking to secure the services of an experience Naval Architect or Marine Engineer.

Your experience in the delivery of offshore projects, including high level of expertise in vessel selection, classification, marine warranties and, most importantly, strong understanding of the requirements of offshore installation projects is essential to your success in this role.

You will be involved in the preparation of detailed specifications for two separate EPCI contracts, both requiring a high volume of vessels including heavy lift, MSV, carousels, pipelay barges and multi-purpose supply vessels. As such, your through understanding of all necessary codes and standards will be crucial.

This role is offered on a long-term contract basis. Joining the client team during this early phase, you will manage the specifications, tender evaluation and selection process and will take responsibility for the selected vendors during the construction phase of both projects.
