Control System Engineer

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The engineer will work as a control system engineer in Khurais Producing Department. The engineer will provide technical and engineering support to plants control systems and instrumentation for all plants under SAOO.

Some of the responsibilities of the engineer will be to: Provide high level engineering expertise in resolving plant operation problems. Issue/review design package for modifications or improvements and follow up the execution plan as required. Participate in investigation teams for analysis of plant or equipment trips and come up with applicable recommendation. Provide required support to the Operations & Maintenance Divisions as required. Work with vendors as necessary to resolve problems, plan upgrades or implement technology items. Write comprehensive reports, letters or technical documents and preset issues fluently.

SELECTION CRITERIA: BS Control System/Instrumentation Engineering with minimum of 10 years experience. Fluent in oral and written English. Expert in DCS, ESD, CCS and gas turbine control systems. Knowledgeable in industry standards and design practice.
