A Houston manufacturing company looking for an Application Engineer.
A good candidate for the for this position will possess ALL of the following:
-B.S. in Mechanical or Instrumental Engineering
-A Masters Degree in Engineering is desirable
-Minimum Two years experience with turbomachinery, valve, instrumentation, diesel engine, and general-purpose controls is highly desirable
-Recent experience in technical sales
-Oil and Gas Experience
Duties:
-Identify new product and feature needs, and participate in objectively defining new product development initiatives and product validation tests
-Assist in the review of existing customer installations to look for process/product improvements and related economic justifications
-Use engineering studies and design documents with assistance from senior application engineer and other departments to generate basis of design and test requirement documents for successful product development projects
