Ketza River Holdings (KRH) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Yukon-Nevada Gold Corporation and operates the Ketza River Project located approximately 50 kilometers south of Ross River in the southeast Yukon. The Ketza River Project is a gold property that was operated by a different company from 1988 to 1990 and has an existing 49-person camp that was just replaced in 2011. The water system, power generation, and septic system were all upgraded in 2011 also. There is year-round highway access from Whitehorse to the Ketza River camp. The YESAB application (to help acquire the Mine permit) for the Ketza River Project was submitted in late September 2011.

CHIEF GEOLOGIST FOR THE KETZA RIVER PROJECT: REPORTS TO VP EXPLORATION
Senior Geologists, Project Geologists, and Junior Geologists Report to the Chief Geologist
Annual Budget: 1.0 to 2.5 Million dollars
The Chief Geologist:
1. Responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Ketza River Geology Dept. including acquisition, preparation, evaluation, and reporting of geological data and managing a crew of professional geologists to complete the work programs.
2. Responsible for evaluation, exploring, targeting, and drilling of near-resource and stand-alone gold orebodies for the entire Property in order to extend the resource and potential mine life.
3. Must provide guidance and leadership to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards in a safe environment; assure safety standards are followed by the geology staff.
4. Responsible to develop the annual Geology Exploration budget for the Ketza River and Silver Valley Projects. The budget is reviewed with the VP Exploration, at which time he/she is responsible to operate within the confines of the budget.
5. Monitors and reports on the exploration work on a monthly basis.
6. Ensures that the geology staff is trained and capable of carrying out their duties.
7. Supervises outside contracts (e.g. drilling companies) to ensure completion of jobs on time and within budgeted cost.
8. Supervises on site camp staff consisting of cooks, housekeepers, and camp technicians many of which are First Nations and other local people out of Whitehorse, Ross River, and adjacent communities;
9. Performs QAQC on drill hole assay data on a quarterly basis in order to load the results into the drill hole database for use in resource and reserve calculations.
10. Summarizes successful exploration drilling results, including plan maps showing drill hole locations and intercepts, for periodic press releases issued by the company. These press releases will be forwarded to the Vice President of Exploration for review, modification, and authorization for release.
Work shifts are typically four weeks on and two weeks off, or something similar. People applying for this position should have a B.S. in Geology (M.S. preferred), 5 to 10 years experience including managing drills and geologists, and be able to work in Canada.

Queenstake is currently operating a 1.75 million ton per year capacity processing plant at the Jerritt Canyon Mine that includes 2 roasters. The Smith Mine is accessed via a drift portal and was reactivated in January 2010 and is currently being contract mined by Small Mine Development (SMD) whereas the SSX-Steer Mine complex is being mined and operated by Queenstake Resources staff.
