Our Client
 
Our client is a leading design consultancy specialising in mineral processing plants and materials handling projects worldwide. Due to their rapid growth and increase in project award they are looking for a Structural Checker to work in their Perth offices.
 
Our client is involved in the delivery of engineering projects and also provide contracting services to the mining industry. Their main areas of expertise are in bulk materials handling and mineral processing.
 
The Role
 
Reporting into the Lead Draughtsperson the main responsibility of the role will be to check project personnel’s drawings. As a checker you will still be expected to have a knowledge of design and be able to do design work.
 
Experience
 
The successful candidate will be currently working as either a Structural Designer or Checker and have worked on bulk materials handling and process plant facilities. You will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in design of mineral processing plants.
 
Knowledge of mine plant design and layout/detailing of materials handling equipment are essential.
