THE ROLE
A major international oil and gas operating company has requested CCL to provide a Subsea Flow Assurance Engineer to be based in Luanda. 12 month (renewable) contract. Must be prepared to travel as required by client. Excellent rates and remuneration package.
THE PERSON
Minimum of 5 years engineering experience working with subsea production systems in a flow assurance or operations support capacity. Monitor subsea production system operation on a daily basis. Identify system operational irregularities and faults. Be involved in hydrate management and risk mitigation work. Revisit operating guidelines and verify operating procedures for each asset. Participate in the asset integrity management programme. Work in conjunction with the topsides FPSO team to optimize production WRT chemical injection, thermal expansion, corrosion, erosion, and slugging.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Minimum Degree level qualified in an engineering discipline, preferably Chemical or Process engineering and should be a Chartered Engineer or be working towards chartered status. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Must have broad industry and specific integrity management knowledge and expertise. Must have track record of successful delivery on high profile projects. Comfortable working in culturally diverse environment. Must be eligible to reside and work in Angola.
