Senior Geologist Doncaster

ATH Resources offers the opportunity to join a very successful mining company, striving to work to the highest standards in everything we do.

Realising that our staff are our greatest asset we are looking to recruit for the following individual to strengthen our Development Team at our Head Office in Doncaster

Successful candidates will ideally have 10 years industry experience with a strong resource estimation track record, knowledge of coal field geology and be able to demonstrate a extensive understanding of coal mining and or surface coal mining.

Successful candidates will be responsible for undertaking all aspects of technical work in support of specific new business opportunities and will contribute across the business in terms of developing the Company's portfolio and facilitating optimum management of current assets. You will be responsible for the supervision and development of the Company's main advanced exploration projects up to feasibility as well as directing the exploration activities and overseeing associated administrative aspects of the exploration.

You will be able to demonstrate the ability of encompassing data acquisitions and evaluation to enable 3D geomodelling and resource and reserves estimations for all the Company's projects.

Candidates will have a dynamic and enthusiastic approach to geology and coal mining alongside the drive to succeed. With a great aptitude for your work you will be an outstanding team player with the ability to hit the ground running.

We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced individual who will ideally hold a degree in Geology or Geostatics with a membership to a professional body.

All candidates will have the ability to deliver well written, competent technical reports, have a high level of expertise with mining software packages, ideally LSS, and will be fully conversant with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
