Geophysicist - AsiaPac Experience - WA based Role Western Australia (for residents)
You have the opportunity to join a market leader in the onshore oil & gas energy sector with strong exploration and production assets in South East Asia. Based in their Perth office you will have the opportunity to work on international exploration projects.
You will work with the Exploration Manager and a team of Geophysicists, identifying and testing exploration opportunities.
You will have:
Relevant tertiary qualification in Geosciences or related technical qualification
Strong working knowledge of South East Asian Basins.
Strong 2D and 3D seismic interpretive skills
Interest in rock physics, inversion, seismic acquisition and processing techniques
Excellent communication skills, confidence and motivation to optimise results
Working knowledge of relevant software packages (Paradigm, SMT, Petrosys)
Salary depends on experience, but it will be in the region of $150,000 - $200,000. Salaries outside that range can be considered for those with exceptional levels of experience.
